Hi friends! On this blog we will be posting a variety of content related to the book club, art, and local community. We plan to post book reviews, meeting recaps, opinion pieces, and more.

We are hosting this blog through a standalone website as opposed to self-publication platforms that integrate social media features. We made this decision because we hope to encourage more mindful production of content without the distraction of algorithms. A core reason that we created Uplift is that we believe in the importance of expanding cognitive skills through education and intentional media consumption. Amidst the advent of AI and the attention economy, we want to combat convenience and digital overstimulation through this back-to-basics internet publication. No comments, no likes, no endless scroll.
