We want to create a space for people to build community and decompress while engaging in thoughtful conversations regarding diverse perspectives.

Everyone is welcome! The point of this club is to broaden each others' perspectives, so the more the merrier. There is no need to identify a certain way or have prior knowledge of the stories we discuss.

We will post details about discussion meetings on our Instagram page at the end of each month. We will send out these details and other announcements via our email newsletter as well. You can subscribe to our newsletter to stay up to date without any obligation to attend meetings.

We acknowledge that the category of the “Global South” does not encompass a fixed list of countries or people groups. For the purposes of this club, we prioritize authors and stories from places that are typically excluded from notions of the “West” or the “First World.”*

*We reject concepts of the “West” and the “First World” and only use them here as a frame of reference to understand who is typically marginalized by those categorizations
